FAQ/Help Centre

For help with your Reencle Prime and to see if others have had the same question, you have come to the right place.

What can I put in my Reencle?

As a general rule, if you could digest it, Reencle can too.

Rinds? Cores? Scraps? Yes!
Pits? Shells? Cigarrettes? No!

How does Reencle Prime work?

Reencle Technology
Our system closely mirrors a basic Aerobic Composting process but excels in creating an optimized environment that speeds up the microbial decomposition of food scraps.

ReencleMicrobe™ Bacillus

It's Endospore-Former Bacillus:

Like our stomachs, possesses a great ability to decompose organic matter such as carbohydrates, fats and proteins

Can survive long periods of time even in dry and harsh environment

Has a thermophilic nature 🔥! which puts it at very low risk of contamination by other bacteria

Tested Decomposition

Tests have been conducted on a variety of foods regarding the time it takes for Reencle to decompose them.

The result was that Reencle takes only 2 to 24 hours to
breakdown most food items.

940 + Silent Churns Every Single Day

A never resting system ensuring you get the best quality compost possible

What consumable items do I need to buy periodically?

1. Filter

Our kit includes two filters which only need to be replaced every 9-12 months due to a 55°C internal temperature that eliminates odor-causing bacteria. Our microbes also prevent harmful bacteria, ensuring durability for 1-2 years and outlasting dehydrators in the market

2. Microbes

There is no need for regular microbe purchases; they naturally reproduce. After buying the machine, extra microbe starters are not necessary unless there's a cultivation issue. As decomposition occurs, microbes naturally increase

How can I utilize microorganisms as compost?

To use miccroorganims for composting:

1. Remove compost with the provided scoop, maintaining above the MIN line inside the unit.

2. Sift to remove undecomposed pieces.

3. Mix 1 part compost with 4 parts soil.

4. Cure the mixture for 3 weeks in a breathable container.

It's ready when it's dark, crumbly, and smells earthy.

Is it okay to turn off my Reencle while travelling?

For trips under a week:

Keep the unit plugged in and moisten the microorganisms on your departure day.

For trips exceeding a week:

1. Stop adding food waste 2-3 days before departure.

2. Use the "dry" function for 2-3 days before leaving

3. Unplug the power cord and store microorganisms in a sealed ziploc bag in a cool, dark place.

4. Upon return, plug in the unit, add the microorganisms , and activate them with 500ml of water after 6 hours.

When should I empty my Reencle?

The Max line at the top of the Reencle chamber indicates when to remove the product. You can choose to remove it to the glowing white (LED) line for more frequent emptying, about every two weeks, or to the "Min" line for less frequent removal, about monthly. The method depends on your composting preference and needs.
